Fabulous! I agree with nrthwdscrapper, you're more likely to fulfill your dreams if they're documented. Maybe it's because they appear more 'real' if you can you can show others what is imprinted within :) Melbourne bound someday soon... may one day soon become that someday!

I don't know where the phrase came from, a song I'm sure...but it popped into my head while playing with this pic. Which, btw, I really love. Mom took it at the New Orleans zoo...it seemed so fitting. Can you tell I'm learning to love book plates and paint?

Anyway, the journaling reads:

Waiting. Always waiting for the day I get my ticket and board the plane to Australia. I love the culture, and know the lingo. The accent no longer sounds strange to me. I'm ready! It feels like an eternity away, but maybe someday soon.

A little lower it says "Melbourne Bound"

The clocks came from a 'time' transparency that I bought. The whole thing was too big, so I just cut out the parts I liked and stuck them together.
