the colors really stand out! neat idea to use the metal letters for presents down the side of the picts. I love the gel slides and titles.

First Birthday Party

This is my son's first birthday party. He's usually a really happy kid but this day he was very clingy and he didn't like his cake or toys much. He had fun though.
The smaller image is the inside of the Cake picture.

Journaling: "Even with all your presents, cake & friends, you still weren't your busy and happy self. You just wanted to be held the whole time. Then all your presents (rocking horse, especially) scared you."

Hidden journling: "The day you refused cake... We were all ready for you to get messy with your cake. But you take after daddy and you don't like to get dirty. You stuck your hand in the cake and made a 'yucky face.' You kep looking at your cakey hands in disgust." BELOW--"Right before you attacked me with cake"
