Just a page I did to tell all the reasons why I love NYC so much :)

On the left, I listed all the things I find fascinating about it. (The size of everything from the buildings to the billboards to the congested streets // Way bigger than I ever imagined // No houses in the city and even out of the city, they’re practically packed on top of each other // The whole concept of an 843-acre park in the middle of the biggest city I’ve ever seen in my life // How long the commute is for people who work in the city (and how easily they can sleep on their train and subway rides!) // I spent more money on transportation than food during the course of my trip // Businesswomen in stilettos running around the city – I’d break my neck! // Smog)

The little blocks list actual reasons I love it there.

Then the journaling reads: For months after I returned from my short trip to the city, it was on my mind constantly. Of all of the many places I’ve been to in my life, none has fascinated me or made such an impact on me as New York City. I’m not sure why… could it have been the familiar fast pace that I thrive in? Could it have been the never-ending list of places to go and things to see, a quality that I wish all of my vacations could possess? Or maybe the intense change of scenery from my small-town Ohio life to the huge, loud, fast city life? Whatever the reason... something in New York struck a chord in my soul. Whether I live in the city or not, there’s no doubt that I’m a city girl at heart. For my two days in the city, I felt right at home, even though I’d never been to New York – or any huge city for that matter – in my life. After just a few hours there, I knew that if I could live anywhere in the world, I’d be in New York City. It as simple as this… I love New York!

Thanks for looking! :)
