This is the left of a two page layout, and part of a larger bridal scrapbook. This is the left of a two page layout. These photos are of some of the guests at my sister’s bridal shower.

The red top and bottom are from the same sheet of handmade paper with a stitching design. The photo border is ribbon, and the red check is some of the cotton gingham used in the shower décor. The chipboard title is handmade.

At the shower we did a “bouquet of good wishes” – good wishes and advice from each guest were written on a little card and tied to a flower bouquet. Instead of journaling, I’ve scanned some of these wishes, printed them on vellum and stitched them to the page.

They say:
“Best wishes for a happy lifetime filled with gifts of love and joy.”
“Start and end each day with a hug and a kiss.”
“Always find something nice to say to each other every day.”
“Every day is only one day in your lives… Learn from the rotten days and linger in the bad days. Life really is too short.”
“Above all: We, the You, then Me”
