I finally scrapped valentine's day! I didn't know what to do with it because we had so many pictures. Well, this is what I came up with. I used 18 1" x 1" pictures and 1 4" x 6" picture. The large pink flower on the top left side can be pulled out to reveal hidden journaling. I totally love how it turned out!

Journaling:
Our first Valentine’s Day together was like no other since we spent it in the zoo. Luis picked me up and we left from my house early. February 14, 2007 was on a Wednesday so there was no one at the zoo. I enjoyed that. We walked around the zoo looking at the animals. Some of them were lazy and were just resting in the shade. The white Tiger caught our attention immediately. He was beautiful. Luis got me a stuffed white tiger at the end of the day as a souvenir and a reminder of our great time together at the zoo. The elephant was hilarious. Somehow his food got stuck between his tusks and he couldn’t get it out. He made funny faces as everyone laughed at him. The giraffes were another of my favorites. They had a baby giraffe and he was adorable. I made Luis take a million of pictures of the giraffes and us with the giraffes in the background. The little colorful bird in the picture was another interesting story. They have a huge aviary in the zoo and of course we had to go in. That bird kept flying close to us and stopping a few feet away when we stopped walking. Luis took this picture of him after he chased the bird through the aviary to take a decent picture of him. Of course, we took a couple of pictures of ourselves as well as funny pictures of each other. You can see Luis riding a giant lizard in a picture as well as being eaten by a fossil dinosaur. We left early because Luis had to work at 6. We went to my house and rested for about an hour until he left to work at CVS. Because of this, we didn’t go out at night. However, we had a great time together the zoo on Valentine’s Day.
