5th birthday pg.1

I really like this layout!! I love the colors and shapes. I do have to agree though that the title could be a little bigger. sb tip in general: Your page should have something whether the title or a specific picture that should automatically draw the eye in; and from just that will want the user to look some more.

i am like you-,i sometimes really want real feedback - it helps me improve. i think this is cute. your main picture up top might look better if it was larger and maybe cropped in more to his face. i think the ribbon really goes well with the pp- but there is so much up top and none along the bottom to balance. the big dots are cute, but with the fuzzy ribbon and tags it's very busy. maybe just take the fuzzy ribbon off and use simpler ribbon. now- your little one is soo cute. i like how you inked the edges of the pp, the circle with the title in it and how you did the three tags with the three photos. really nice job. i know when i have gotten real feedback i appreciate it but it's sometimes difficult to hear. we pour our hearts into our layouts- especially ones about our families- so please know that this is cute and scrapping is not just about design but about heart.

I agree with what's been posted. It's a great "kid" page. (Kids are busy!) :) The title could use to be a little bigger, but it's not the end of the world. Nice LO!

I think it's very nice and not too busy at all! But then again this is nothing in the busy department compaired to mine...LOL! Now don't take offense to this next suggestion please because it is simply just an idea. I would think that a strip of matching paper, maybe about 1-2 inches thick running across the top, under the happy Brithday, might be a nice anchor for the title and top picture. This would also tie in the bottom picture strip by adding a coordinating element. The strip wouldn't need to be centered either. It could be just above center. Regardless, I think it's very cute and I love the combo of stripes and polka dots!!

I like it! for balance, you might could make the title larger, and put the top picture a little lower, but it's not anything major--only because you asked. By the way, your situation is one reason I often try to view lo's with no comments. Sounds like something to continue.

you asked for some feedback, so these are my thoughts: it's basically a cute layout, but i think the title could be bigger to work with the size/movement of the page. to my eye, the part of the page currently holding the title is too empty. and the fuzzy fiber is a bit much for me - but i'm just not much of a fuzzy person in general, so don't take that to heart! lol nice colors. nice shapes.

Very nice job. I agree that it is a bit busy, but if you were to look at my pages you would see why I would say that! LOL! I also agree that the busyness works for this LO...it is a kid page. I really like then ribbon, I think you have inspired me to try a lo or two with ribbons.

This is a FUN page!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's a bit busy, but I *like* busy for kids pages...it "feels" like a 5 year old would be on their birthday! My favorite bits are the ribbon, and the pullout journaling! Thanks for sharing!
