Taking the advice of Ali Edwards, life artist from CK Magazine, I decided to document a day in the life of Tarrah and I. I'm extremely proud of this LO because of the journaling. I know that when she's older, this will be a wonderful glimpse into our private little world.

The journaling is as follows: Now that you’re 2, here’s what we do! 1-Every morning you wake Mommy up by crawling all over her and saying ‘Wake up, Mommy, wake up!’ in a sing-song voice that is completely adorable. 2-First thing Mommy needs is coffee, and the first thing you need is ‘Chocky mik!’ (Translation: Chocolate milk) and your Ego. 3-If we’re off for the day, you proceed to undress yourself and run around nakie asking to take a ‘baff’ (bath). In trying to potty train you, it’s become apparent that you don’t like diapers, pull-ups, or even underwear for that matter. 4-At 8:30am Dora the Explorer is on! By 10am the living room is trashed because you have pulled out every toy you own. 5-By noon time, you have had 3 or 4 snacks and therefore don’t want your lunch. 6-After lunch, we usually go somewhere. I tell you we’re going ‘bye bye’, so you get your bag and wait by the door. You’re very helpful. You turn off the TV immediately and start screaming ‘Bye Bye!!’ 7-Your afternoon nap is either in the car, at home, or we forget to give you one (which I always regret around 6pm). 8-Dinner is quick and takes only minutes to make, because you have no patience at all and you know that you’ll get a second dinner later when Mommy eats. You try very hard to use a fork while eating your dinner. It usually ends up all over you. 9-That’s why we wait till after dinner to give you a ‘baff.’ After screaming and fighting with me over washing your hair, you play for about 15 minutes till I hear the loud splash of your toilet seat hitting the water. You don’t seem to understand that it’s not a floatie. 10-I let you watch a little TV before bed, usually ‘Spun Bob!’ (Sponge Bob). And then we go into our darkened room, with one lamp on and read a story (almost always Dora), sing a song (usually Laurie Berkner), and go to sleep. Yeah right! You fight me tooth and nail for about 30 minutes before you finally drop off. And that’s what you do at 2.
