A 2nd page dedicated to DD's sr prom. (The first was a 4-page LO in her "senior year" book.) For the sparkles, I took a holographic die cut and snipped it to bits, then glued them on.

Journaling:

There are certain moments that every mother imagines and dreams about. Her child's wedding is one. The night her child dresses up and goes to prom is another. You were so upset when you didn't get to go your junior year, it made your senior prom that much sweeter.

Going with your friend Tony instead of a boyfriend just made it better because you'll never have break-up memories tied to the night. The dress alterations were stressful, but it came together and you were beautiful - just like I imagined.
