Side 2 of the interactive element which reveals journaling and photos. Some of the journaling: We share information about cooking with visitors and demonstrate various methods used by early settlers. Every year the cooking demonstration has been staffed by local volunteers as a service to the Tri-Cities Historical Museum. We have learned first-hand how difficult the task of preparing meals was for the early settlers; but, every year we return to help again. It has been an experience I have truly enjoyed every year. I have met some wonderful people, learned new things and shared some fantastic food with family and friends that will never be forgotten. Every year I look forward to the fun & fellowship....
