I found this sketch online somewhere and it was perfect for these photos.
The journaling reads:
Jay had is first "real" taste of crawfish today! He LOVED it! He went with Grams and Papaw to pick them up and wasn't too crazy about those little things scampering, trying to get out of the great big cooler.
We went to Charles and Mary's home to boil them. He amazed us when he started eating so many of the "atomic mushrooms." They are mushrooms that are cooked in the crawfish boil. They become VERY spicy. He must have eaten a dozen of them.
Papaw couldn't peel the crawfish fast enough for Jay. He really liked them.
