LOVE IT!!! I am soooo showing this to my son, he's constantly saying to me "it's ok mom, I understand it's an old people thing" I look forward to the day his son starts saying such things to him!
That is an excellent way to look at life! My dh & I were jsut talking about this the other day....I am now in my late 30's and growing up I used to think that that was very old! Now I look back at those days I just laugh! I always say....You are only as old as you think that you are!
OLD? OLD? Old is now over 90! 50 is the new 40 remember! That's OK for those youngsters to not understand, one day they will experience it and be embarrassed to what they used to think.
There you go! The "young'ens" never seem to realize that we don't feel any older than they do...! My slogan is, "50 is the new 30!" (I turned 50 last month ;D!)

This quote reminds me of when my oldest DS was 18 he asked my DH ( who is not his dad) when are you grown up? He thought for a while and said 'never I hope!' I'm saving this in my favs, you may see this quote one day on one of my pages!
Ok. who was complaining about being old at 30 earlier in the week? I cut this out of a magazine recently, but I can't remember which one or when it was --that's Ok. I am in my 5th decade and proud of it. I work with a few 20-somethings so I had to hang these words by my desk to remind them that IT'S OK TO BE OLD!
