Love how boys never change! My 3 year old loves his Daddy's cape from his childhood. Maybe I'll ask my DH's mom for a photo of him in it. Great idea!! CUTE LO
What a great idea! Isn't that awesome?! I have a little Superman at my house too. I love your journaling. Allen will really love looking at this someday.
REally cute!! Love both photos and your journaling. Your handwriting beats mine by miles!! The title is perfect and a beautiful font! Great job on the big S.
This is a great LO! I love that you have a then and now pic, and guess what??? I don't even notice that the first one was your son!!! I thought that they were both grandsons! That'll teach me to pay closer attention!
there is nothing wrong with your handwriting! I so love the then and now pictures. Layouts like this remind me why we scrap. To put down a memory. great job.
Great titlework Susan, it goes perfectly with the cartoon style page!! and all those great primary colours work perfectly too!! cute photo too!!!...btw your handwriting looks wonderful, and perfectly readable too!
What a great idea for a LO!! Love the two photos on the same page! It's a great memory passed on and kept going!! I DO like your writing on the page....I think it's an important thing to do from time to time, even though none of us like to do it!! LOL
What an awesome page and one they are sure to love comparing the two in the same costume. The lo is awesome as always and I think your journaling in your own handwriting adds such a personal touch to the whole lo. I am never happy when I do it in my own handwriting either, but I think it will mean more to everyone when they see it is written by you. I love it!
OMGosh, Susan...this is ADORABLE!!! I love the photos, esp. that you included one from all those years ago! Very clever to have added the logo, too! Love it!!!
The photo on the left is my DS, Matthew when he was about 3 yrs old. The photo on the right is my DGS (Matthew's son), Allen....just a quick "boyish" layout. I wrote the journaling in my handwriting....again....nope, still don't like it any better than I did the last time! LOL Journaling reads:
Matthew, when you were about 3 years old, I made you a Superman cape. You wore it all the time. I think you thought it gave you “super powers”! Twenty-five years later, we took this picture of your son in his Superman costume! I didn’t make Allen’s outfit, but he was a handsome superhero….just like his Daddy!
