This tag (and others like it) were handmade with cardtock in a color that coordinates with the ribbon used for ribbon ties on the album spine. It was made using a die from AccuCut but you could also use different sizes of circle punches (1" to 1.1-8"-glue the base circle and the outside circle ring together) then punch a reinforcement hole using a hole punch found at the office supply store. I run my tags through a hot laminator and write on them with a Sharpie pen. If I want to change the year I rub the film gently with alcohol on a Q-tip - being careful not to get the alcohol near the punched hole (I don't want any leakage on the cardstock inside). Note: Cold laminating film isn't cleanable with alcohol.

Ball chain was purchased at a local hardware store in linear feet (clasps are sold separately).
