I love that the states are making trail where the old were. We have miles of them here and biking is so perfect along these tree-lined places. Lovely photo and what a neat bridge.

I, too, love the melancholy sound of the train whistle. There is something very appealing about train tracks, isn't there?

I used to live almost on top of a railway line!! The trains went by day and night, although we never noticed them. There are lots of cycle and walking tracks near us in Bath and Bristol created from disused railways, they take you through some pretty country side.

That is a great shot. That bridge just doesn't look very high. I wonder how much clearance there is between the train and the bridge?
