A fun layout of one of our frisbee golf outings from last summer. Scraplifted from Michele Skinner's LO "Celebrate is a Verb" featured in the Creating Keepsakes 1/07 issue on pg 76. TFL!
Journaling: It's really nice having one of the only Frisbee golf courses in Northeast Ohio five minutes down the road from our house. It means that all of our friends come to us to play. It's usually the other way around because we live out in the burbs and our friends are closer to the city. On this particular Frisbee golf outing last August, we all met at Hudson Springs Park around 4pm for a competitive round. Our friends had already spent the early part of the afternoon playing "real" golf and had come directly from the golf course to meet Andrew and me at the park. Andrew and I brought along Chase, who loves to walk the course with us and is very well-behaved the whole time - he only chews on his own Frisbee! When we arrived at the park, storm clouds were already starting to loom. But, since the forecast had been calling for a chance of rain all day, we didn?t let the clouds deter us and started to play. As we made our way from hole to hole, the storm clouds grew more ominous. It started to sprinkle and Amee and I decided it was time for us to head home. The guys still wanted to play, so Amee and I took the dog and head back to Andrew's and my house. Not too long after that, the sky opened up and started to pour. At that point, the guys decided it was time to call it a day, piled back into the cars and headed over to our house for dinner. The rest of the evening, we grilled some burgers and had a nice dinner as the rain continued to fall outside. Despite the fact that our Frisbee golf game was cut short, we still enjoyed the good company! August 2006
