Hurrah for Emma's blind joy of cooking and her model to us younger generation. God bless friends who love life, despite disabilities. You GO, Emma, girl!
I'm not familiar with Plachinda but I'll bet it must be good if you'd make a special trip to learn how. Wonderful that Emma is so "young" for her age and disability. Reminds me of "Nanny" who you may remember from past photos.
This is my Sister-in-law's mother, Emma. She is 90. I went to her apartment so she could teach me how to make a German pastry called Plachinda. She is a corker! Such energy and independence and what a good cook. Emma is blind.
