The journaling reads: and down it comes. The Mennonites tore down our home the rest of the way. Any salvagable lumber was saved with the nails removed and stacked. Before this stage, however, we packed up any usuable items and moved into an apartment just a few blocks away. We dismanteled the fish shop, gave away all the fish to local fish clubs and sold all 90+ aquariums and equipment. We soon learned apartment living is not all that great. And the actual loss was beginning to set in. More so for my Gramp. Little did we know how much of a loss.
