my ds and i have been going thru a rough patch....when i was going through my pics and saw this oneof us together (that my 3 y/o dd took by the way), it really made me long for the "old days" when he was a momma's boy....anyway, just thought getting my feelings on paper might help me feel better and move on...kwim?
journaling: You and I are going through a bit of a tough time buddy. Lately (really since you started kindergarten) it seems that you consider me to be the enemy, while in reality, I’m your most faithful ally and certainly your biggest fan. It seems everything I do is wrong and you sure let me know it. You’ve said some really hurtful things in the last couple of weeks and your bad attidute leaves a lot to be desired. I guess I really shoudln’t be that surprised; this is the kind of thing that happens as children begin to grow and mature (or so everyone keeps telling me). All the recent chnages of starting kindergarten and meeting new (and infuentlial) people can be really overwhelming and you’re probably dealing with it the best way you can. I will strive to be patient and have faith that God will bring us through this challenging season of our relationship. I long for my happy little boy who loves his Momma like he did in this picture. And, I know one thing for sure: I’m never giving up on us and never giving up on you. I love you way too much!
ohh! and my 1st time to actually remember to do a posting border for my white b/g! ; ) yay!
