OMG this is amazing! I love the sepia and gold, it creates such a warm, rich LO! I adore what you did with this this sketch! Everything about it is amazing!!
what a great pit stop! It would have been the highlight of my day too!! Excellent layout! Lots of fun and warmth here!! I love the way you did the title!
This layout shows a side trip we took en route to the Grand Canyon this summer. We stopped at Great Sand Dunes National Park. It ended up being the highlight of our trip. I thought the pictures reminded me of the movie, "English Patient," which is why I opted for a "vintage" layout.
The quotes are: Page 1: Brothers' Journey -The journey of sharing both laughter and tears, connected together through a lifetime of years. Page 2: It is not the haste of one's journey but rather what he does along the way that determines whether or not he reaches his destination.
Journaling on tag under top right picture on page 2: "This was only supposed to be a side trip - a stop ALONG THE WAY to the Grand Canyon - a simple afternoon excursion. Who would have guessed a mere PIT STOP would turn out to be one of the HIGHLIGHTS of our summer VACATION. Andrew and Joshua will likely never forget their day of running up, sliding down, running, sliding, up, down. What a great way to learn that the JOURNEY truly can be every bit as fun as arriving at your DESTINATION!"
