Ok, did EVERYONE's mom look like that?? LOL. Mine sure did! :) You did a good job using everything without overpowering your photos. something I think is very important - especially with old photos. Nice job!
So the velvet ribbon and gold things made me think heritage page. So I called my mom and had her mail me some pictures of her. On this page we have the red velvet ribbon mingled with pp on top and bottom. The three snaps were embossed and are holding the quote "I remember my mother's prayers and they have always followed me. They have clung to me all my life." Abraham Lincoln. The flower is on the bottom with the hemp twine on it (the other flower is on the other page between two layers of mica--it's very difficult to see), and the page pebble is over the L (for Lorie) which was printed on the other mailing tag. And obviously the gold photo corners are on the smaller pic--I embossed them as well. Well, I'm pretty happy with this--but it definitely helps to have such a B*E*A*U*T*I*F*U*L mom to scrap! Thanks for looking and all the inspiration I get from this site!
