For the October AGC
Journaling reads:Lauren,
Today is your fourth birthday and time seems to be
slipping by so fast. It seems like it was just a few
days ago that I was picking you up from the
baby sitters.

It was the same routine we followed
everyday. As soon as we got into the house,
you wanted cookies and chocolate milk. We always
had to watch Monsters Inc. You would climb
onto to my lap and say “Oh Grandma, I’m so scared,
are you scared too?” The best part of the whole
thing was that I got to sit there and cuddle with
you for the whole movie. I can still remember
the way your hair would smell and the hugs
and kisses that would follow.

As I sit here and watch you open your presents,
the beauty of this picture brings tears to my
eyes. The sweet innocence in your face takes
my breath away. I wish I could prevent any
hardships or set backs the future holds for
you. Just know that no matter what road
you take, I will always be there, with my love for
you shining strong and steady.
