I was thinking of doing the same thing but having been bit by them before when I stepped on an ant hill and had no idea until I felt all the bites, I changed my mind. I feel your pain and itch. Hope you get over the itching quick because it is annoying.

OH Diana!!! You are nuts girl :) I'm so sorry you got injured "on the job" and hope you find a way to relieve the pain quickly. Can you put anything on it? Cream or oatmeal bath or... something? Geez... how many bites did you get? Couldn't you have just leaned down next to the dog and taken a photo of what she was looking at??? LOL

OK that was a long winded story but we didn't even get to see the ant!!!! Oh hang on think I just spotted one... they look like red ants we have in UK sting like billyoh, inject you with formic acid. Went walking one day and sat for a rest on a nest next thing i was stripping my clothes off to get them out of them.. my poor DH was appalled!!

hate them!!!! then invade your house with it rains for days on end or when it's dry (either looking to get out of the water or looking for water!!), they appear in random places! (entryway? dh's shoes?). yep, they hurt.
