I think this is really beautiful! This is the first time I've gone through your gallery and this is quite the treasure! Good for you for sharing such honest journaling.
Absolutely fantastic!!! I love the contrast between the negative (black/white side) & the postive (green) side and how you left the photo on the negative side in B&W and in color on the pos. side - very, VERY cool! Your journalling is awesome and the whole design is just fabulous! GREAT WORK!!!!!!
Your comments are so true about we feel but don't say. This and your story has said a lot to me. I appreciate, love and feel inspired by your design of this layout and fell inspired to take the plunge into myself. Thank you so much for sharing...
Wow- this is beautiful! Love how you did one side b&w with the negative things and the other side in color with the positive things! The quote is perfect! Wonderful job on this!
This is really terrific! I love the way you did the possitive and negative with the black and white and then the color! Beautiful job! So hard to do these and you did it beautifully!
very cool how it is black and white on one side and color on the other... That matched the journaling and "theme" of the LO perfectly. Great job on the raw and personal journaling!! Great LO!!
Very profound! I love the way you worked in the b & w and color as the positive and negative sides of yourself. I agree we all have both to deal with. Good LO.
That needs to be circulated, I think every woman that sees it will relate. Thank you for sharing such a personal, and important message. Congrats on the weight loss too!
This is for my very first challenge, brycesmom's "No Men Allowed" challenge. The challenge criteria: *Scrap a pic of yourself. *Use a quote about women. *The word woman/women must be in the title. *Use a flower(s). This is only the second LO I've ever done about myself, and the other one was baby pictures. This was a bit more difficult! To be realistic,I decided to showcase my internal battle of negative vs. positive. I believe we need both the good and bad to make us who we are,and I also believe I'm not the only one who feels torn between their two "selves". Here's the journaling, negative side: (This woman) Feels fat and ugly,Feels stuck in her drab life,Worries about everything, everyday,Wonders what life is for. Journaling positive side: (This woman) Has lost 72 pounds in 7 months,Feels lucky to have 2 sweet kids,Knows there is good in this world,Is awestruck by the beauty of life. The quote under the picture: No woman wants to see herself too clearly. -Mignon McLaughlin
