Swezey department store was a major shopping stop in the little town of Patchogue, NY when I was growing up. The store has since closed, but this mural still depicts it's importance in the town. This day, a few of us decided to walk down the water and ended up in town. When I spotted the mural, I asked the kids to pose in front of it. People were quite curious as to why I was taking a picture and wanted to be in it. They must have thought I was someone important taking a picture of the mural. Of course, I obliged as I thought it was rather funny.
