This is a photo of my DGC, Katie and Adam. I wanted to create the illusion of looking thru a window...so...I made my window frame from a soft beige, doodled the "accent" lines and inked the entire frame. I did the same with the "table". I also made the flower pot. The scarf on the table is just a small piece of fabric (I frayed the edges). I didn't want to cover the "window" with a heavy "curtain" so I used a piece of sheer white ribbon and glued seed pearls on it. I also doodled the "floor" so the table wouldn't be "floating" on the layout. The tiny picture in the frame on the table is a little silver oval...I think it is called a conch? anyway...the journaling reads:

Katie and Adam, I hope that one day when you look at this picture, you remember this summer morning. Your mama planned this day, so that she could take these wonderful pictures of you two and at the same time, show you some local historical sites. This picture also captured a sweet and special moment between the two of you. It’s obvious that you share that special bond that only brothers and sisters can share. Your mama told me that the water tower in this picture is the Webb Water tower that was built sometime during the 1800s. WOW! That’s even older than Grandma!

Thanks so much for looking
