So they made them of popsickle sticks and pipecleaners. That's so cute. Wonderful photo to go with your story. Lynn is right, our kids could not ever do that in school here.
AWESOME! I must say - I'm always annoyed that so much cool stuff cant' be done here (in our schools) for this reason or that reason... stuff all of did as children is no longer allowed for safety code, or health code, or some other reason. I think it's WONDERFUL that your kids are exposed to adult-supervised observances that must be SO cool from their perspective. Great capture. Cherrish it.
It will be Guy Fawkes night on Monday night! There is a link in my post on the thread with a little history of the celebration! At the school where I do my work placements the older classes held a mini bonfire night (which takes place the first weekend of Nov). This photo is of a teacher throwing mini guys that the children made into a mini bonfire!!!
