I have been wanting to try out this pencil idea for ages - I saw it on the internet a couple of years ago and saved it as I really wanted to try it myself. All I did was chop up some pencils with my gardening cutters and then glued them onto acetate that was sitting over the enlarged "a" which I printed off the computer - and voila!
