The inspiration for this card came from the old report covers used in high school/college. Remember those? I cut and scored a piece of Bazzill Bling (blue) to the standard card size, then cut off all but 1/2" of the front. Then I attached my acetate cover to the strip, then adhered another strip of Bazzill Bling (white) to the top of that. This gave it the true report cover feel - clear cover with a solid background and no adhesive showing. This also let the shimmery side of the Bling show :o) Then I stamped images from Inque Boutique's Let it Snow set onto the acetate with Stazon Opaque Cotton White ink. The large and smaller snowflakes were then stamped with Versamark and heat embossed using Whispers Silver EP. I punched out the small one with a circle punch and cut the larger one by hand. After the white was dry on the acetate I added jewels to the center of the snowflakes. It's really shimmery and sparkly in person!
