Not as fancy as 3jmom's but fun. A few years ago my little town had a quilt making year. EVeryone who wishes could make a quilt "square" 3 x 3 or or 6 x 3 inches. It could be your name, your business, or whatever you wished. When all the pieces were turned in the senior citizens and the middle schoolers stitched them together in coordinating colors. The pieces made 6 quilts the size for a full bed. This one hangs as the police station and is impossible to photograph well. It is under a stairway across from a huge window. So unless I break into the police station at night (yah, sure) I have to get the photo with the window making patterns on top. Kinda makes it interesting.
