Journaling says: Daddy was in Iraq and Mommy went to NC. You and your brothers and sister went to spend 2 weeks at Grandmas. Jennifer was having her horseback riding lessons and you and Jacob were running around. You fell on the rocks and busted your knee. Grandma took you to the ER and you had to have stitches. I'll never forget that phone call when you called and told Mommy. My heart just broke, I couldn't be there for you, to hold you or to cry with you. I sent you a Get Well Card, with a Band-Aid in it. You mailed me a sticker that you got from the Doctor. Grandma said that you were a tough guy when they were putting the stitches in your knee. I'm so proud of you for going through all that without Mommy being there. It's a good thing that we have Grandma from the beach!
