another fairly quick & easy page created by slightly altering a TaylorMade template. It is of two of my friend's Brittney Spaniel's hunting in Georgia a few years ago. The journaling reads: "Their noses know. Turning into the wind, centuries of selective breeding tells them that feathered game is near. Quail, grouse, woodcock, pheasant … it makes no difference to these dogs. Instinctively sensing that just one more step will send the bird rocketing up through the trees the four-legged hunter holds a paw in mid air, above the crunchy, crackling litter that Mother Nature has sprinkled upon her forest floor. Where is their partner with the shotgun? The statuesque pointers will maintain their poses for as long as necessary, but hopefully their human notices shortly, lest the bird become nervous and flee the scene."
