ooooh COOL! I have freshwater and am always fascinated by salt water fish but just dont' think I could deal with all that. Sorry about the sea horses. You must have been heart broken.

He is gorgeous...I had one that looked just like him, but he is no longer with us... Funny thing...he must have been the calmest puffer ever. When we got him, our "fish guy" tried to make him puff for me by rubbing his belly and he wouldn't puff. Then he lived in our tank for a few months and between the dog ramming his head into the side of the tank (trying to catch fish) and my daughter slapping the side of the tank, he never once puffed!

puffer in a 24? Just looked it up, didn't know puffers could go in a small tank! cool. what kind of puffer? The closest I see in my book is Crowned or threebarred Toby, he's a 3.

Salt water tanks are so lovely. Unfortunately, they're heartbreaking too since they can so easily get wiped out with one disease. Your Puffer looks great. Hopefully all will go well.

Wonderful fish. My brother has a salt water tank, it is 150 gallon. It amazes me how expensive the fish are. Have you tried to make your own rock yet? One of my friends was going to try that she bought the sand and all but she had major life issues going on and never did get around to it.
