The words "luck" & "duck" were punched from Quickutz Higgins Handprint. I placed our ticket stubs behind the poem to look like they were sticking out of a pocket. I layered vellum over the 2 pictures of my daughter to tone down the red and pink in the pictures. I then ripped holes so the parts of the pics I wanted to show were not covered by vellum.
My original poem reads:

We went to the zoo today,
to see animals of all kinds.
We squeezed thru crowds.
We stood in long lines.

We saw the elephants,
and the gorillas, too.
The rhinos, fish,
and kangaroo.

We walked past the lake,
that's when you saw,
your favorite animal
of them all.

Nothing exotic,
nothing rare.
No slimy skin,
or shaggy hair.

Your favorite animal
had feathers and a beak,
said "quack quack"
and had webbed feet!

Just our LUCK her favorite was the DUCK!
