I love the paper you used for this castle. You are right - you are stepping into the past - I loved it here. Spent a whole day - I couldn't believe the size of some of the holly bushes and the peacocks were too cute - did you get to the conservatory to see the giant urn!!! So much here to see - nice job on this page!
Terrific use of the fantasy paper line!!!! it almost looks like a page from a travel brochure! Your photos with the people in are perfect in giving the building scale....it makes it so much more impressive. And the comparison of the ancient building with the modern cars etc really gives an idea of the scope of history!! Great job.
The castle is in the city of Warwick just about 30 miles West of Leicester. My son went with us and we had a lovely day. It did happen to be "Bank Holiday" in Britain. Which is the equivalent of "Labor Day" for us. EVERYONE was at the castle!! lol It was crowded but still fun. Journaling: "Warwick Castle dates from the first century A.D. The city has grown up around it, but once through the entry, acres of open land give the illusion and feeling of the past. Oct. 26, 2007."
