This lo is for Kristie's No-MenChallenge where we were told to pick a quote involving women and had to use a flower. My quote comes from Ms Maya Angelou in her infinate wisdom she wrote "Being A Woman Is Hard Work" and I could not agree more! I changed this photo to a poster setting. My hidden journaling reads:
"Being a woman is hard work" says Maya Angelou.
What an understatement! Between being a mom to Katelyn who is three, Kristen who is twelve, guardian to the three cats and dog, laundress, chauffeur, chief bottle washer and cook I am tired! I know that I don't have as much on my plate as some mothers do, but since Kevin is often gone out of town on business I feel like I am raising our children alone sometimes. That makes things a little tense at times. Juggle that with taking care of Kevin when he is home and our home responsibilities I have to say that being a woman is hard work, it certainly is, but I am glad to be my husband's wife, and glad to be a mom to my two wonderful kids, as well as to our four furry babies. Thankfully I can relax in my favorite place: the bathtub, and of course my scrapbook studio too.
