This is a gift I made for my MIL for Christmas. It's my first attempt at a journal jar and I'm really pleased with the way it turned out. I used the Funky Vintage (Ruby) line from Making Memories. The colors are amazing IRL!

The tag on the jar says: IT’S A JOURNAL JAR!

Your life story – one day at a time. This little jar celebrates someone very important – YOU! If you will follow a simple plan, you will find that before this time next year, you will have a very personal, Personal History finished! All you need to do is draw out one slip of paper each day (or at least twice a week, but it will take longer to finish this way). On it you will find a question. Spend a few minutes and just enjoy remembering. Then paste the question at the top of a blank page in the journal and begin to tell about it. Don’t worry about spelling, handwriting, etc., just tell your story.

Inside the jar are all the questions. I printed them on the wrong side of patterned paper then rolled the strip up before putting them in the jar so it will look pretty.
