Well... considering the alternative of kitty not liking a dirty box and going elsewhere.. yeah, I guess you have to do it ... I have 3 cats, believe me I sympathize :)

I didn't have to do this until I got Shima. He is blind so he only goes indoors now - even though he has use of the garden, he won't do his business out there, darn it!

Oh, so with you on this one! I wish I could train my kitty to use the potty. I'm sure kitty is that smart, not sure I'm smart enough to teach him to use it though...
