Lots of health issues with family and friends lately has really caused me to think about all the things I have to be thankful for. As a friend of mine struggles with the news that her newborn baby will need an operation, it becomes so clear to me that I have been given such precious gifts.
This layout is a total scraplift of a layout I saw here in the gallery several months ago. It was so pretty that it really stuck out in my mind for a long time now. It can be seen here:

Journaling:
God’s greatest gifts to me, my two healthy babies. I have been so blessed, first to become pregnant not only once, but twice. I loved being pregnant. I loved watching my tummy grow bigger (much bigger!!!), knowing that my baby was growing inside. The kicks, the movements, and seeing little hands and feet poke out were absolutely amazing. I look back on both of my births very fondly. I was so fortunate to have labor go smoothly. Sure, I had a few bumps the first time, but nothing that threatened the
health of myself or the baby. I remember the pain, but it was all soooo worth it. I would do it all over again to hold my precious babies. The moments of my deliveries will
always be the most important moments of my life. There could never be a more
rewarding experience than that. All of the stories I hear about everything
that can go wrong makes me ever-so-thankful for my two healthy children.
May I hold them close and treasure them always. Thanks given November 21, 2007
