my oldest son... there is an amusing story behind this pic. The little rocking chair he is sitting in belonged to my grandmother Nettie she sat in it as a child and my daddy sat in it and I sat in it, well by the time i had children it was a mess the bottom was out, well mom found it in an out building while i was pregnant with tim., I had an uncle who knew how to bottom chairs, so he fixed it up and redid the color so it matched tims room. it was originally a blonde color of wood... well the little chair was about 100 yrs old and a prize possesion in the family.. well not too long before this photo was taken.. Tim for some reason decided to stick his head between the rungs and of coarse became stuck,, you know kids...well i didnt know what to do, of coarse knew he had to come out but i really didnt want to saw my little chair, does that make me a bad mother ???? lol..any way i greased his head with butter and worked and worked until i finally got him out with no major damage to him or the chair.... his had was a little red but not skinned or anything ....well i just had to make his pic in the chair...wish i had one of me, daddy and granny...anyway thought id tell the story although i was almost embarrased because it sounds like i thought more of the chair than the kid...which of coarse is not true but he did learn not to put his head where it didnt belong...lol..
