For the November Lyric Challenge

I am involved in social work. Currently, I am on limited duty, so this is the only family I'm working with. When I heard of this month's lyric challenge, I knew immediately which song it would be and what the topic would be.

The song is "In the Ghetto," although I first heard it on a Mac Davis album, not Elvis' version. While the whole song is appropriate for this situation, I've chosen to focus on the more positive section of lyrics - can't you see that these kids need help? Why don't you do something? The one boy with the arrow is the one who is really struggling.

The LO is intentionally pretty plain, because this is a serious, stark subject. But the butterflies represent the hope for change and escape from the life they've known so far. (The hidden tag simply has the names of the kids.)
