I decided to start a new tradition this year at Thanksgiving. Whoever shows up for Thanksgiving dinner, family or friend, can write down something that they are thankful for at that time. Some time in the future, many years down the road, we will open it up and read what we have all wrote down through the years. Kind of like a time capsule except that I'm not going to bury it. LOL! It's hard to read but the clear tag hanging from the clock face says "Time". The lid is not finished yet. I decided that in a few years after we have a bunch of thankful comments in here, I'll pick some and adhear them to the lid as decorative elements.
