SHCG: The loops are perfect. I love that this LO is so fun because in the picture you two seem to be having such a wonderful time. The higes are a wonderful idea. I am not a very big fan of buttons, but they are adorable in this case. I wouldn't change a thing.
SHCG: Oh, love, love, love the loop d loops! The buttons add to the fun air of the LO. Love the hinges and the hidden journaling. This is really inspiring. Nothing to add! Thanks for sharing!
Cute! I love your redo makeover of your wedding page. Super fabulous job with all of the buttons. I bet this page ways like five pounds!! I really have no suggestions...just love it!
SHCG - Oh Tiff, this is such a wonderful re-do - I love everything about it - the colors, buttons sneeze, the highlighting of this one fab photo, the swirly "love," hinge-hidden journaling - such a delight for the eyes & the heart. While your deco-scissored originals are still very special to me (& I imagine you too!), what you did here was simply amazing. Splendid, m'dear!
SHCG: What a great re-do, I love this lo! Great photo, love how you added the hinges~that's adorable. Love all the buttons and the loops around the photo is so cool!
SHCG: That's a whole lotta buttons. LUV the loop de loop frame to your fabulous b&W photo. You could sneak a few heart shape buttons on but why tempt fate.
SHCG: (Wiping a few buttons that flew my way.) You know that I always question the significance of buttons on a page, and that I like to see them sewn down, but--dareIsayit?--they add some charm to this page. In fact--I can't believe I'm gonna post this--I'd say you need more, clusters of them more tightly packed together. Okay, let's not speak of this again. Moving on... How did you manage to make red, white, and blue look more romantic than patriotic? The picture just draws me in and makes the hidden journaling even more intriiiiguing. I love that love is defined by an addition as simple as three little white dots for each letter. Love the hinges and the pull, the loops and the white outline. This one's definitely an attention-getter! I'm happy to see you've drawn a lot of attention outside our CG.
SHCG: WOW! LOVE the swirly " love"! I love all the buttons! The photo of you two is amazing and I like it B&W! I also like the way you did the photo for the hidden journaling-I mean the hinges and the handle! Amazing lo!
SHCG: I really love those swirlies around the photo acting as a border. the word love floating in there is really awesome. love the hearts in there as well. I love the hinges, and that handle really makes it too cute. I, personally, really like the buttons. This picture is absolutely amazing. You can really tell how in love you two are! Awesome page
I like the way you did the swirls around the picture and the buttons all over. This inspired me. I am gonna use this technique 1 of these days. Into "This Inspired Me" it goes. :)
SHCG: I LOVE the button sneeze!!! That handle idea is too cool...I would only add one little thing...a heart shaped button!!!!! It's a lovey layout...It needs a heart button
SHCG: God Bless you! That was a big button sneeze, but I love it!!! You did such an awesome job converting this from a deco scissor nightmare to a gorgeous LO with tons of class (and buttons) hehehe. The hinges and handle are the perfect touch. The only change I would possibly suggest would be white inking around the edges, otherwise, cool LO!
Extreme Makeover-Layout edition Here is my do-over for some of my wedding pictures. I did my wedding album before the memo that deco scissors should only be used in small amounts. You can find some of the scariness here to compare: http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s193/whenscraphappens/evildecoscissors1.jpg and here: http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s193/whenscraphappens/evildecoscissors.jpg
Now, for this layout. Excuse the button sneeze. I saw an Elsie layout a while ago that I loved. These are the things I remember: the loop de loops, the word love in the loop de loops, the hinges, the buttons or something similar filling the space. However, when I completed mine it looks nothing like the layout I remember of hers. Given that hers must have been a while ago because it was a wedding layout and she is now divorced, so it goes...
The picture lifts to reveal hidden journaling, which believe it or not given my lack of privacy issues, is too private. :-)
If anyone has seen or knows of this Elsie layout, please let me know so that I can give proper credit and prove that I am not crazy.
