My grandmother's cat Ebony and a poem that I'm guessing my gm wrote about her:

Ebony
How often, gray phenomenon
Have you been tripped or trodden on?
Yet still I cannot cook a dish,
Cut off a chop or skin a fish
But you must interrupt my work
With your ingratiating smirk As in among my steps you twine
Risking your worthless neck and mine.
How did you grow so impolite?
Well, no one's looking, here's a bite!

The journaling on the tag is on the back of one of the photos: "Lest you forget me. Signed Ebony" "I am unhappy. Come home."
