my box of chocolate

My three boys are growing up so fast and so are their personalities.

sweet, funny, silly, moody, nutty, active, charming...boys
I dreamt of girls in pony tails, laces and paisleys on girly dresses, pink ribbons with matching shoes and dolls to join us for tea party. But I guess dreams are not always meant to be because it’s a boy, a boy and another boy for me. I have seen toy cars to last me a lifetime, bouncing balls of all types and sizes, robots, animal friends, toy guns, “karate mommy, please”. Jumping and shouting and boxing and kicking and climbing, what’s new? Will my life any different if I have daughters instead of sons? No idea. Maybe. Sure. But I swear, I swear I’ll never trade my box of chocolate for anything else.
