My husband Jason and I were devastated when his baby-oops, I mean Mustang, was in an accident. As I was taking pictures of it I noticed the beautiful blue sky reflected in the hood. (The picture is a black and white one and I hand-colored in the blue sky around the clouds.
***Interesting techniques to note: I used embroidery floss and hand embroidered a zig-zag stitch at the top and bottom of the page. (I think it shows up a lot better than if I would have used my machine.) I also added a cute little swirly accent to the word hope in silver and turquoise. The date tag at the bottom right has been hand sewn on as well.
The film negative at the bottom is an actual old one of mine that I whitewashed.
