Oh yep definitely an awesome system, i've considered doing something similar but always forget so sometimes I have cardstock that just sits and sits until I decide paint is my motivation.
wow, i would never thought of that, it is treuly a great idea!
i never have enoug cardstock at home, let alone to match it.I may need to go and bay up a store, and do the some. lol
What a neat idea! I'm quite particular about my colors too, and I can never find the same color or remember the name of the Bazzill colors. Having swatches would definitely make it easier to find the right color for a layout at the store and at home, instead of going through all my cardstock and risk bending the papers.
I am pretty obsessed about my cardstock. It has to be Bazzill...no other. I have a complete running list of all currently manufactured Bazzill cardstock that I take with me whenever I go shopping to buy new colors. My cardstock is organized according to that list, with each color labeled with its name, if it belongs to a collection like the Fourz or Bling or Doodlebug, and a swatch of the color. They are stored in the scrap storage sleeves by Cropper Hopper and I use one sleeve for 2 colors. I also cut a 3 inch square off of one of the sheets each time I buy a new color. These go onto one of my color rings so that I know that I have that color. Then when I get ready to scrapbook and I need to match a color to my pictures or paper I pulll out the color ring and find the perfect paper. No more mismatched colors for me. :)
