After dropping Matthew & Kasey (DS and girlfriend) off at their place, I kind of wandered around for a bit, wanting to find a good place to capture the sun that was beginning to come up over the mountains. I ended up heading south out of Anchorage and down the Seward Highway, stopping at a couple of scenic places along the way.

This is the second place I stopped - Beluga Point - and although this may appear to be a sunset, it was actually taken at 11:11 am - about 90 minutes after the sun came up. Temperature here was in the mid 20sF, but there was no wind, which is common along the inlet, so it was actually quite pleasant to be outside.
