This is the view when you open the hinge. DD's footprints on the top and journaling reads:

On February 11, Daddy had knee surgery. He had to be on crutches for eight weeks! When he came home from the hospital, he asked you, “Who’s going to walk first, Adri, you or me?”

My money was on you! You had been crawling since you were six months old and had recently started to pull yourself to a stand.

A couple of weeks before Daddy was scheduled to get off his crutches, he jokingly told you, “I’m going to beat you!” You weren’t interested in walking. You would stand and say “STAAAAAND”, but after a couple of seconds you would plop on your bottom! No big deal you’ll walk in y our own time.

Daddy was able to get off his crutches on April 13th. He thought he had beat you. Little did he know the surprise you had in store for him. That evening, he was watching TV when you took a couple of wobbly steps to him! He was so excited! I couldn’t believe it. You tied and walked on the same day! It looks like you inherited your Dad’s competitive nature. You go , girl!
