I love love your bead work...just gorgeous! The contrast between the browns and the blues works so well! Oh and thanks for providing the link...sounds like a great fun to do...I might try that as well!
I too fit the Water Beads profile. It's funny because I just remodeled my house and did most of it in real warm earth tones which I found really appealing. I did accent with a comforter in aqua.
Ohhhhhh, "water beads" did turn out pretty!!!!!! That's what I am too!!! I just don't like the name, but you did justice (and more) with it!!!! Everything about this layout is spectacular!!!!!!! OK, I will do one too!!!
Oh wow Gabi - those stitched beads look amazing and well worth the time and effort, if I had picked a colour for you it would definitely have been green, but reading the words - they somehow fit, beautiful job on the challenge, love the stamping and the colour combination - STUNNING TFS :)
this is awesome!! Love the colors, the beads on the tag...the flower in "your hair"....just beautiful work!! Thanks for the link to the web site...I think I might try it!!
Hey Gurl! =) Love the Layout its totally cool, inspired me to check out the website and I found out Im 'Ruby Star' which is kewl =) But I gotta say... your inspiration to scrap 'Water beads' is SO totally AWESOME!!
Very beautiful, Gabrielle! I love the blue with the browns, your stamping (as always, you're such a great inspiration!) and how you dressed up the hidden journaling tag! Love it!!!
beautiful! I love the bead work, and the little bubbles!! And it wouldn't be a Gabi layout without stamps, come on!!!! I mean, one can only get so linear!!! lol!! I am going to see what my color is, maybe I will do a layout on my color (hope its a good one!!)
So glad you pulled out those stamps! I can't imagine a "Gabi page" without them. These colors are fabulous & that description really does require a layout - another perfect one, at that!
Well, I'm glad you pulled out your stamps ~ They look GORGEOUS on this page! Such beautiful papers and I love all the beads...well worth your trouble, for sure! What a great idea to do a layout for your family, too! Awesome theme, and amazing work, Gabi...as always, it's already in my faves!!!
My favorite colors are purple and green too, but I find myself using more blues than anything...I will go see what my color profile is... This LO came out beautiful, the journaling is touching, you just have a way with everything!!!!
Gorgeous photo...I love the blues....the beads are just the perfect touch....WOW! This is so incredibly beautiful! I checked out the color profile....the results for me????? Water Beads! No wonder I love your style!!!
So my dear friend Stacey sends me to this website to get my color profile done....say what?? mine comes out as 'water beads' (blues), okay, greens or purples I could see but blue?...well, I really like the wonderful descriptive words that come with the profile so I thought I'd do a page on it (actually I thought I'd do one for each member of my family), the words say......
"Water Beads
inspired by the blues in our world... the taste of fresh blueberries, your favourite pair of blue denim jeans, relaxing on your back staring into a big blue sky, warm, crystal blue waters lapping at your feet, those tiny blue flowers... you've forgotten their name, but their fragrance lingers... "
....this was also done for Lovely Linear challenge hosted by Kristie, we were supposed to do a page in the style of the fabulous Pammy...well, mine started out in a more clean linear style, LOL! but then my stamps came out!!.....I stitched on the beads on the layout and the tag using a needle and thread, easy-peasy but a little time consuming :D
If anyone wants to try out doing their own color profile, the website is www.603010.com.au/
