I wanted to make a special advent calendar our family could use too count down to Christmas each December, and when I saw Teresa McFayden's (http://teresamcfayden.typepad.com/) cookie sheet calendar it was just what I was looking for.

I had tons of fun collecting trinkets for the number magnets and putting this all together! And the kids LOVE getting to put the magnet up each day and having a visual reminder of how many days are left until Christmas!
